In addition to cultural events, concerts and other programs, the community hall is a popular site for community events, including annual Finnish programming such as Finnish Independence Day and the City of Hancock’s Heikinpäivä festival, and a Nordic Film Series. The Finnish American Heritage Center is the host of the children’s Finnish folk dance group, Kivajat.
