Finlandia University Gallery announces extended fall and winter hours

The Finlandia University Gallery, located in the Finnish American Heritage Center on Finlandia University’s campus, announces additional evening hours, and that it will be open on Saturday afternoons.

Starting Saturday, August 30th, and through April 2015, the gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as well as on Thursday evenings until 7 p.m., and Saturday afternoons from 12 to 4 p.m.

Featured at the gallery until September 12th is an exhibit of prints by Finnish artist Anna Alapuro. Alapuro will be on campus working with students the first week of September, and a closing reception for the artist takes place at the gallery Thursday, Sept. 4th, at 7 p.m.

The Finlandia University Gallery is located in the Finnish American Heritage Center at 435 Quincy St., Hancock.
